Computer Characteristics

A Computer is defined as an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program.


CHARACTERISTICS OF COMPUTER
Characteristics of computer are those features, qualities, and properties displayed by a computer. Any digital Computer carry out these four characteristics below:
1. Takes Data as input
2. Stores the data/instructions in its memory
3. Process the data to become a useful information
4. Takes out data as output

ADVANTAGES OF COMPUTERS.
Here below are the advantages of Computers:
1. High Speed
2. Accuracy
3. Versatility
4. Reliability
5. Automation

1. High Speed: 
Computer is a high-speed device. It can perform. It can perform calculations spontaneously. Billions of millions of calculations can be done simultaneously in few seconds.

2. Accuracy: 
Computers are accurate. If the input is correct, then it is 100% accurate. Because what you give to the computer (input) is what it will give to you in return (output)
3. Versatility: 
A computer is capable of doing many things. It is a very flexible machine
4. Reliability:
A computer is a very reliable device. They are designed to make maintenance very easy. They are longevity.
5. Automation: 
A computer is an automatic machine. It can automatically perform any tax given to it

DISADVANTAGES OF COMPUTER
Any computer has the following Disadvantages below:
1. A computer does not have IQ. There is no intelligence.
2. A computer is a machine without feelings or conscience. Onlike humans
